📍Pompoenboerderij Kids De Jong, Ederveen 🇳🇱🎃🧡 @de_pompoenenboerderij

Last Friday I visited two pumpkin farms in the Netherlands including this one in Ederveen, near Ede, called Pompoenboerderij Kids de Jong.

This pumpkin farm has a huge selection of pumpkins! And good prices as well. They have pumpkins for decorating or for eating. I already made a delicious pumpkin soup with some of the pumpkins I bought here👌

This place is so fun to visit as everything is set up very photogenic. There is a swing and trampoline for kids so its very family friendly. There is a cute dog running around and the owner and her kids are super welcoming, they even helped us to carry all the pumpkins in the car since we bought so many 😂

Visiting a pumpkin patch!🎃

Yesterday had so much fun visiting two pumpkin patches in the Netherlands with @petitetravelling including 'Puur van het Land'.

Visiting a pumpkin patch is the perfect autumn activity with friends or family! The pumpkins can be used as decoration, carving or for making delicious fall recipes like pumpkin soup.

At Puur van het Land they have a huge selection and the prices are pretty good as well! I recommend stocking up enough pumpkins to make soup for the whole autumn season 😝

📍Glenfinnan Viaduct, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

All aboard the Hogwarts Express! 🚂🧙‍♂️✨

This iconic spot isn't just a railway bridge — it's the bridge from Harry Potter, where the train to Hogwarts comes to life.

Paid parking is available at the Glenfinnan Monument Parking. From there its a short walk to the Viaduct. For the best viewpoint of the viaduct, walk underneath the viaduct and turn to the right. Walk uphill untill you find a spot for yourself. It can be busy but people spread out over the hill so its not to bad.

The Steam train goes multiple days a days, varying each season. Check the schedule in advance. Search or ask chatGPT for 'jacobite steam train timetable glenfinnan viaduct' However the time is not always correct, as the train was an hour late 🙈

Hidden in the mountains behind Málaga, Júzcar is a blue painted village in Andalusia, also known as the Smurf Village. If you’re visiting this region of Spain, this destination should be on your bucketlist!

📍Lavado do Rei, Madeira Island 🌿

The Levada do Rei (PR28) is one of my favorite hikes on Madeira island! You walk along a levada (water channel) through dense jungle-like forests, spot waterfalls, and end at the magical Ribeiro Bonito(see first photo). The trail is flat, peaceful, and surrounded by lush greenery –it's a true paradise for hikers of all levels!

During my Scotland road trip we made a stop at the village of Alnwick in England. The reason we came here is for the castle, as it has been used as inspiration and filming location for Harry Potter.

Besides the castle the town is very cute and photogenic! (personally I enjoyed the town more than the castle). Definitely make a stop at the cute icecream shop as well🍦.

There was also a nice market in town selling all kinds of cute home goods and drinks&foods while we were there. The market is every Thursday to Saturday (March- December).

Granada is a city that is a blend of Spanish charm with Moorish influences. Its the famous home of the beautiful Alhambra, but there is more to see in this city!

Tip: Granada is a great fall destination. I visited in October and the weather was perfectly sunny.
